ETron Circuit LabsLab 13 Intro to PNP TransistorsObjective:In this Lab you will learn how a PNP Transistor works and build a simple circuit to observe a PNP Transistor serving as a current amplifier.Step 1 – Take InventoryUsing the Parts Inventory as shown on the right under the “Here’s What You’ll Need” section, place each part needed for this experiment on its corresponding drawing. Observe the schematic symbol for each part.Make sure that you have all the parts ready before you begin Step 2.Step 2 – Build the CircuitUsing the Schematic Diagram and the picture of the completed lab, build the lab experiment with the electronic components. Use the “Check Your Work Here” Box to verify that your wiring is correct, and then proceed to Step 3.Step 3 – Do Experiment Theory:In this circuit, when you press switch S1, the electrons will flow from the negative of the battery, through the 3.3K Ohm resistor, switch S1, LED 1, the Base-Emitter junction of Q1, and then through R2 (the 220 Ohm resistor), LED 2, the Collector- Emitter junction of Q1, and back to the positive of the battery.24
