Here’s What You’ll Need...Theory:In this simple electronic circuit, you will light up the LED with a battery. The electrons will flow out of the battery through the LED, through a Resistor, and back to the battery. The more electrons that flow, the brighter the LED will light up. A Resistor gives opposition to the flow of electrons. It acts just like a funnel does for water. A Resistor allows a certain amount of electrons to flow depending on the voltage (pressure). The higher the value of the Resistor in Ohms, the fewer electrons that will flow in the circuit. The fewer the electrons flowing, the dimmer the LED.Procedure:Assemble the circuit and connect a 9-volt battery to the Battery Snap and begin touching the probe (wire 3) to each resistor lead, one at a time, observing the brightness of the LED.
